Sorry ladies, Johnny Depp is now officially off the market, People reports. The actor married Amber Heard in a civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Depp got engaged to the Friday Night Lights actress in Dec 2012, after meeting her on the set ofThe Rum Diary. The two started dating after the Mortdecai actor split from his long-time partner Vanessa Paradis with whom he has two children: Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12.
Rumour has it that a bigger ceremony is to follow on the actor's private island Little Hall's Pond Cay in the Bahamas this weekend.
About the venue, Depp told Vanity Fair in 2009: "I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful. You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It’s instant freedom."
According to Page Six, Amber will be clad in a Stella McCartney gown for the big day.
The couple has 28 years age difference. This is Amber's first marriage and Depp's second.
